About Us

Mungyenna Education was founded by Margo Brewin, a qualified science communicator and experienced cultural educator. Margo has completed two Master’s degrees, in Science Communication Outreach and Environmental Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Archaeology and Paleoanthropology. Her professional background includes performing with the Questacon Science Circus, running cultural activities with the Freycinet Aboriginal Education Program, being the Aboriginal Land Management Specialist for a major mining company and the Aboriginal Heritage Advisor for the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. 

Mungyenna is a Tasmanian Aboriginal name for the short-beaked echidna. Margo started Mungyenna Education to share her passion for culture, science and environmental education.
